Construction has started on the complete rehabilitation of the east side of Amador Circle (east of Vista Grande), Ore Court, and Placer Court. These streets are currently the streets in the district that are in the worst condition. There is also water and sewer work that needs to be done under the street, so this is a big project.

Please note that the schedule can be affected by weather and other circumstances such as materials supply, so this schedule can shift slightly. The projected rough schedule is as follows:

• Work on the water main and services will be in progress through February into early March. For the residents in that area, we apologize for the incovenience of water service disruptions. We are planning and coordinating to keep them to a minimum. Unfortunately, repairing, replacing and servicing the water mains sometimes requires us to disrupt service.
• After the water main work is finished, we will begin work on the sewer lines. The sewer lines in that area have a few places that need some attention. We will be lining the sewer to increase the useful lifespan out for decades, as well as replacing and rehabilitating troubled manholes. Work on the sewer will take place from the middle of March until the middle of April.
• After the sewer work is complete, rehabilitation can start on the surface. In mid-April we will begin removing and replacing all of the curbs and sidewalks on those streets. That work will continue until the beginning of June. All of the sidewalks will be replaced.
• Once the curb and sidewalk work is done, we will replace the roads. This part of the project will happen in June, with us projecting to be complete around June 26th.

We know this is a long project, and again we apologize for any disruption to the residents in the area. We will minimize disruptions as much as possible. We are very excited to be able to do this work and replace a failing street and sidewalk section in the district.
