Parks Maintenance
Our Parks & Streets department works year-round to keep the district maintained. All of the streets, parks, catch basins, stormwater system, and culverts are maintained by a crew of 3 people.
There is not a precise schedule of maintenance for this department as there are always several variables in play for their scheduling. Weather is a very big variable, as well as budgetary constraints and priority levels.

- Mow, trim, and blow the parks.
- Pre-emergent treatment of weeds.
- Fertilize district's lawns.
- Prepare the ball fields for sports use.
- Sand and paint the benches, tables, and trash cans in the parks as needed.
- Inspect playground equipment for hazards.
- Daily checks of the parks and facilities to empty garbage cans, clean restrooms, and resupply restrooms.

- Spray pre-emergent to fight against weeds toward the end of the season.
- Fertilize district's lawns monthly.
- Final mow, trim, edge, and blow of all parks toward end of season.
